Faculty Global Engagement Breakfast

Join us to network and learn about grants for the President’s Award for Global Learning and Global Career Launch: Faculty-Driven Internships.

The President’s Award for Global Learning empowers students and faculty to examine real-world multidisciplinary topics through project-based coursework and in-country collaboration with international partners. Faculty teams receive $5,000 to support student projects and class activities, in addition to $10,000 to support a graduate assistant. Two faculty leaders are each awarded a $14,000 honorarium and an optional faculty mentor may participate, with an $8,000 honorarium. Faculty, graduate assistants, and students also receive fully funded travel as part of the award. Faculty can also apply to receive travel grant funding to travel to the program location for proposal development in advance of the May 1 proposal deadline.

Global Career Launch Faculty-Driven Internships is an innovative global internship framework for faculty to lead undergraduate and graduate students in high-impact work through research and internship experiences abroad. Faculty members receive a $5,000 stipend and a $2,000 travel grant per year for two years.
