Production and Measurement of Isotopes for Clean Energy, Robust Infrastructure, and Fundamental Science

Students will participate in an international research experience in nuclear science at the world-renowned Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL) in France, exploring reactor technology, isotope production, and particle physics through access to cutting-edge laboratory facilities. Working in interdisciplinary teams, students will address real-world challenges such as developing digital twins for isotope production, advancing nuclear simulation methods, and investigating previously unknown nuclear states.
